Airport Operations

If you’re a people-person who can deliver award-winning customer service in a 24-hour operation where no two days are the same, Airport Operations (AO) could be the job for you. JetBlue’s friendly and helpful AO crewmembers welcome customers with a smile and help manage a smooth check-in and boarding process. To be successful in this role, you must have a helpful attitude, solid computer skills and be committed to serving with excellence in all situations.

  • Ground Operations

    Office job not your gig? Get outside and flex your muscles as a Ground Operations (GO) crewmember. The GO team prepares the aircraft for departure, loads baggage, stocks provisions, and is responsible for the safe guidance of aircraft movement on arrival and departure. While out there braving the elements, GO crewmembers also help with aircraft fueling and waste disposal. The team values safety above all, has a positive attitude and help out one another to get the job done.

    We hire Airports crewmembers at nearly all JetBlue destinations, while many of our Ground Operations opportunities are with the larger stations, including our focus cities: Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Long Beach, New York, Orlando and San Juan.

    Getting Hired

    1. Review the job description and be sure that you meet the minimum qualifications of the role.
    2. Submit your application online.
    3. Participate in a brief phone interview. If that goes well,
    4. Attend an interview to learn more about the job and share your skills and experiences.
    5. If selected, candidates must pass a background screening before receiving a formal job offer.
    6. Once cleared, new crewmembers are scheduled to attend new hire orientation and training at JetBlue University in Orlando!
